Floyd to head new loan production office in Hinesville.
Jason Floyd recently joined Southeastern Bank as Vice President and Hinesville Market Leader. “We are excited to have someone of Jason’s caliber and experience head our entry into the Hinesville market,” said Jay Torbert, President and CEO. “Not only is Jason homegrown, but he’s been in the banking industry for more than two decades. We look forward to introducing Hinesville to Southeastern’s brand of community banking with Jason at the helm.”
A native of Liberty County, Floyd attended Georgia Southern University, graduating with a BBA in Finance & Banking in 1997. After finishing his undergraduate degree, he started his banking career at The Heritage Bank while attending graduate school through the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated in 2006. Before joining Southeastern, Floyd served as Vice President at GeoVista Federal Credit Union.
Southeastern Bank’s new loan production office will be located at 313A North Main Street in Hinesville. “I’m looking forward to introducing folks in the Hinesville area to Southeastern Bank with our new loan production office,” said Floyd. “Businesses and individuals who need loans now have a great local banking option! Community service is important to Floyd. In addition to his position at Southeastern Bank, Floyd serves on the Hinesville City Council and as Chairman of Pastor-Parish Relations at Hinesville First United Methodist Church. He is also a current member of the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire and AUSA. Floyd previously served as Chairman of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and on the Boards of both First Presbyterian Christian Academy and Liberty County United Way.
In his spare time, Floyd enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Rebecca Coefield-Floyd, his daughter, Lily, and friends. He also enjoys traveling, boating and time on the golf course.
