Michael Hendrix, a commercial lender at Southeastern Bank’s Brunswick office, has been named Senior Vice President. Nearing his 15th year in the industry, Hendrix has a strong background not only in commercial lending but consumer and real estate lending as well. Hendrix is a native of Jesup and graduate of Georgia Southern.

When asked what he enjoys most about helping businesses grow, Hendrix replied, “I meet people from all walks of life when they walk into our bank. These people own businesses, yet no two businesses are the same.” Continuing, he said, “My job would certainly be easier if there was a one-size-fits-all solution, but that’s not how life works! I enjoy working through challenges with each business owner to reach a solution tailored just for them.” Hendrix’s commitment to meeting customers’ financial needs make him a valuable part of the Southeastern family.
In addition to his leadership position at Southeastern Bank, Hendrix is on the finance committee at Golden Isles Presbyterian Church. For fun, he occasionally plays a round of golf at the Brunswick Country Club, reads and attends rock concerts. Not to mention, he and his wife Bonny stay busy with their three kids and their ensuing extracurricular activities!
