Andrew “Drew” Jones and Walter E. “Joss” Josselyn, III to serve on both the Company and Bank Board of Directors. “Drew and Joss are high quality individuals with deep ties to our Charlton and Camden markets. Their commitment to economic growth in those communities and strong business acumen will prove beneficial to our Boards. We look forward to working with them,” stated President and CEO Jay Torbert.
Mr. Jones is a licensed pharmacist with 14 years of retail pharmacy experience and is currently employed by Toledo Manufacturing Co. and WC Hopkins and Sons LLLP, where he works as a forest land manager. He is a lifelong resident of Charlton County and currently serves on boards of the Charlton County Commission and the Charlton County Development Authority, continuing a long family tradition of public service and community leadership. Mr. Jones’ great-grandfather, Benjamin Griffin McDonald, was the first Mayor of Folkston, served as a Charlton County Commissioner and Ordinary, and was a founder and vice president of The Citizens Bank in Folkston, a predecessor to Southeastern Bank. Mr. Jones earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University in 2008, after completing pre-pharmacy studies at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Mr. Josselyn is founder and owner of Josselyn Homes, Inc., a residential contractor and homebuilder; Insuring Camden, Inc., an insurance agency; WEJ Rentals, LLC, a property management company; and Ryno Holdings, LLC, an outdoor advertising company, all located within Camden County. He is a licensed Residential General Contractor and a Resident Agent for property and casualty insurance in Georgia. A lifelong resident of Camden County, Mr. Josselyn is dedicated to driving local economic growth through sustainable building and innovative business leadership.
