Lorra Britt, Branch Manager of Southeastern Bank’s Callahan office, was recently named Vice President. With nearly 30 years in banking, Britt’s expertise lies in customer service and branch management. And in those three decades, there’s not much Britt hasn’t seen or done, whether it’s helping customers build their first home, open a deposit account for their new business or navigate mobile banking.
Britt is passionate about her job and taking care not only of customers but staff, too. When asked what she finds most rewarding about managing a bank branch, Britt responded, “Watching employees learn, grow and advance their careers because of my training and encouragement is what I love about my position. Molding and building a team is so rewarding. I know our team is best when we all work together and that’s what we want to be for our community – the best.”
In addition to her leadership positions within Southeastern Bank, Britt serves as a board member and treasurer of Nassau Public Private Partnership, Inc. (NP3). NP3 is an organization that assists communities who have suffered from natural disasters. The organization prides itself on connecting needed resources to people with home and property damage; in just their first year, NP3 put $500,000 in the hands of Hurricane Irma survivors! Britt also previously served on the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce board and the Nassau County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. Britt and her husband, Jimmy, enjoy travelling and spending time with their children and especially, their five grandchildren.
Britt’s goal is to continue positioning Southeastern Bank as the “bank of choice.” She added, “With our level of personal service and the relationships we build, the possibilities are endless!”
