Darien, GA [01/21/2026] – Southeastern Bank Community Foundation, established by Southeastern Bank, recently awarded $40,000 to 16 nonprofit organizations throughout the Bank’s service area in its final grant cycle of 2025.
A registered 501(c)(3) organization, Southeastern Bank Community Foundation was formed to support charitable, educational, and other qualified activities within the communities served by Southeastern Bank. The Foundation holds two grant award cycles per year, with grants of $1,000 – $5,000 to eligible organizations in Brantley, Bryan, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, Liberty, and McIntosh counties in Georgia and Nassau County in Florida.
“Giving back has always been a cornerstone of Southeastern Bank,” said Jay Torbert, President and CEO. “Through the Foundation, we’re able to partner with nonprofits that are creating meaningful, lasting change. This round of grants represents our continued commitment to investing in the communities we call home.”
Grants were awarded to the Brantley County Exchange Club, Camden Community Alliance & Resources, Inc., Camden County 4-H, Charlton County Historical Society, City of Darien, Coastal Outreach Soccer, Equine Valor Project, Habitat for Humanity of Glynn County, Lutheran Food Bank of Camden County, Micah’s Place, Pinky Promise, Ravens of Elijah Food Ministries, Sleep in Heavenly Peace- Bryan chapter, Sowing Seeds Outside the Walls, The Creative Coast d/b/a Start-Up Savannah, and The Storehouse of Northeast Florida.
