While Hurricane Dorian spared our area her worst wrath, there are some people without power or who have debris in their yards. Beyond our service area, some areas in the Carolinas received more significant damage from tornadoes spawned by Dorian, along with flooding. And of course, the damage in the Bahamas is catastrophic in every way. What’s next? It’s time to lending a helping hand.
We encourage everyone to help someone in need, if you want to donate supplies or funds, please find a reputable organization who is spearheading efforts in your area. If you want to donate your time, contact an organization in your community and offer to help coordinate, pick up donations or package supplies. Small acts of kindness mean a lot those in need and to those coordinating relief efforts.
